Privacy Policy

Omnili is a fully offline macOS application. We do not collect, store, or transmit your data — because there are no servers to send it to. This policy explains exactly what that means in practice — written plainly, not buried in legalese.

1. Our Commitment

Omnili is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. Omnili runs entirely on your Mac — your writing, your prompts, and your generated content never leave your device. There are no Omnili servers, no cloud storage, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. This policy exists to make that commitment explicit and legally binding.

2. Offline by Design

Omnili is a native macOS application that processes all text locally on your device using on-device AI models. Your writing is never transmitted to Omnili servers because Omnili has no servers. There is no account system, no login, no user database, and no cloud sync. Everything stays on your Mac.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect the text you write, paste, or generate through Omnili. We do not collect behavioral data, usage patterns, or analytics of any kind. We do not collect device fingerprints, advertising identifiers, or tracking data. We do not build profiles of you. We do not use third-party analytics services. We do not run advertising. There is no telemetry, no opt-in data program, and no usage reporting — period.

4. Your Writing Stays on Your Device

Any text you input into Omnili — prompts, drafts, edits, or generated outputs — is processed entirely on your Mac using locally downloaded AI models. Nothing is sent to external servers for processing. We do not read your writing. We do not log your writing. We do not use your writing to train AI models or improve our systems. What you write is exclusively yours and never leaves your machine.

5. Network Connections

Omnili makes only two types of network connections. First, it connects to Hugging Face servers solely to download AI language models that power the app. These downloads transfer model files to your device — no personal data is sent during this process. Second, the Mac App Store handles subscription verification and payment processing. Beyond these two connections, Omnili does not access the internet.

6. Payments

All payments and subscriptions are handled exclusively through the Mac App Store. Omnili never receives, handles, or stores your credit card number, bank details, or any financial credentials. Apple’s privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We have no access to your payment details whatsoever.

7. No Accounts or Credentials

Omnili does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, set a password, or sign in. There is no user database. Your subscription status is managed entirely by the Mac App Store and verified locally through Apple’s StoreKit framework.

8. No Cookies or Tracking

Because Omnili is a native macOS application and not a web-based service, it does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or any browser-based tracking technology. There is nothing to consent to because there is nothing to track.

9. No Selling or Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties. We have no data-sharing agreements with advertisers, data brokers, research institutions, or any other entities. Since we collect no data, there is nothing to sell or share.

10. Data Security

Because Omnili operates entirely offline and stores no user data on external servers, the attack surface is zero by design. Your writing exists only on your local file system, protected by your Mac’s built-in security features including FileVault encryption. Model downloads from Hugging Face are conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

11. Children’s Privacy

Omnili does not collect any information from any user, including children. The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you have any concerns, please contact us at andman290@gmail.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the app listing on the Mac App Store and revise the “Last updated” date above. Because we collect no data and have no user accounts, there is no email notification mechanism — please review this page periodically. We will never quietly expand our data practices.
